This month saw a celebratory afternoon tea party take place at St Andrew’s Church, Paddock Wood with Right Reverend Bishop James Langstaff The fun family-orientated event was held to celebrate the achievements so far on our campaign to find a safe and secure home for every child that needs one in Kent and the South East.

The event was a huge success, the children were entertained with food, a huge bouncy castle and even a magician! Catherine Moore, our Fostering & Adoption manager commented “Everyone had such a great time, especially the children who thoroughly enjoyed the fun-filled activities while the families got to socialise with each other, chat to Diagrama staff and celebrate their good work together”

The campaign has been running just over a year in conjunction with our partners Home for Good and the Diocese of Rochester. Home for Good is a Christian charity which supports those considering adoption and fostering and equips churches to provide wrap-around support to those that foster or adopt. Their networks of champions, churches, local movements and online hubs create spaces and opportunities for foster carers and adoptive families to support one another.

The Home for Good campaign is just one of a range of projects we are working on to reach out to different faith communities. To find out more about Diagrama or this campaign and how you can get involved, please contact us.
